Cobra Relays, Wednesday 8, April 2020

Dear Coach,

During the 2020 outdoor track & field season, Harford Technical High School will be hosting the 5th Cobra Relays. This a fun and competitive early season meet to help build team cohesion. Our outdoor track facility features an excellent eight lane rubberized track. We will be limiting the meet to 10 schools, first come, first served. If you are interested please sign up early on Md milesplit. There will be no rain date.

We will have a DJ playing inspirational music during the meets, concessions will be open, and we will have FREE snacks and drinks for all coaches.

Restrooms will be available. Locker room facilities will NOT be available. No athletes allowed in school at ANY time. Trainer will be located on the infield by the finish line. ALL running events check in will be in a designated area on the infield. No warm-ups on the infield, Coaches may be in the infield.

Admission: Entrance at main gate, All Spectators $5.00; senior citizens and children under 6 free.

Awards:

Medals to top (3) in each event.

Certificates and medals to winners of the Coach Griffith 1600 Meter Open.

Coaches meeting 3:00. (Field Events 3:15 P.M., (Running Events, 3:30 P.M).

Max of (2) runners per team in the open 1600 meter run.

Each team can have (2) relays in 4x100 and 800 meter sprint medley relay. For Shot Put, Discus, Long Jump and Triple Jump (3) total attempts, for High Jump and Pole Vault (3) total missed attempts. Max of four events per-athlete.

$ 200 for girls and boys teams, or $100 for one gender.
