Entry Process:

Registration: The Ed Bowie Classic is password restricted. To receive the password, we must first receive your entry fees. Only then will the password be emailed to you. The limit for out-of-county teams is 10 -12 teams. This is first-come, first-serve. No checks/money order payment will be accepted at the meet.

Entry Fees: $400 for both genders, $325 for one gender. Teams are only allowed 12 individual entries total for each Gender, Relays are given.

Sanctioning:The Ed Bowie Classic is a sanctioned meet for Marylandand bordering states: DC, DE, VA.

Pole Vault: (2) - decision will be made at meet who goes first

General Information:

Entry to the Sportsplex will begin at 8:00 a.m., the coaches meeting will begin at 8:30am and the first event willbegin at 9:00am. All athletes and coaches must enter through the lower entrance in the back of the Sportsplex.

Teams will be directed there upon arrival.

Meet Admission:Ticket Spicket will be used for online pre-sale of tickets for spectators for the meet and will be capped off at 300. There will be no pay at the door options. The link for online sales will be forth-coming very soon. PGPCS protocols will only allow for 300 spectators, first come, first serve.Spectators also must present their Clear Digital Vaccine Card Verification or Proof of Negative Test upon entry in the Track Meet at the Sports and Learning Complex. Details for Clear Digital Vaccine Verification is listed below at the bottom.

Capacity Limitations:

Prince George's County Public Schoolmaximum capacity limit will be at 300 for spectators.

Awards:1st, 2nd, and 3rd place medals for each of the events

Food and Drink: The PG Sportsplex has a wide variety of food and drinks available for sale and numerous concession stands will be open. However, no food or drinks may be taken out of the stands.

Support:A paramedic and/or athletic trainerwill be on site throughout the meet.

Spikes: All competition areas are Mondo surfaces and only 1/4" pyramid spikes are acceptable. All athletes must have their spikes checked by meet officials before competing. Spikes are not allowed to be worn in the stands for any reason. Any athlete willfully disregarding this request will be scratched from further competition.

Mask Usage Guidelines:
Must follow mask and guidelines until the restriction is uplifted on when masks are no longer required.
Masks MUST be worn by spectators, coaches, and officials at ALL times. Must be worn by athletes when they are not competing, while in common space,
If Athletes forget their protective masks, staff will provide them with a complimentary disposable mask for the initial offense, but will not continue to provide. All athletes are required to obtain their masks prior to being permitted into venue
Clear Digital Vaccine Card:
Recommended Digital Proof of Vaccination (upload car), and/or Proof of negative PCR test result with 72 hours of the event. This includes any spectator who is under the age of 18 accompanying an adult between the ages of 5 - 17.
