The Princeton men's cross country team won the Cappy Anderson Invitational held at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore lt;br />on Saturday, Sept. 19.
Four men finish in the top 20, as the University of Pittsburgh men's cross country team finished third at the 2009 Cappy Anderson Invitational, held at Maryland-Eastern Shore. Pitt's women recorded a fifth-place finish, out of the nine teams competing.
The Saint Joseph's men's cross country team finished second out of 11 teams competing in the Cappy Anderson Invitational 8K race at UMES on Saturday. Hawks' sophomore, Kevin McDonnell placed third, running the course in 25:18.91.
Freshman Brooklyne Ridder (Cincinnati, Ohio) captured her first career victory while sophomore Vince McNally (Smoketown, Pa.) paced the Nittany Lion men with a fifth-place finish, Saturday at the Cappy Anderson Invitational on the campus of Maryland-Eastern Shore. Propelled by three runners in the top 10, the Nittany Lion women finished second-to-only No. 7 Princeton in the team standings. The Nittany Lions turned in a fourth-place finish on the men's side.
