Maria Coffin (Annapolis)
Last year, Maria Coffin of Annapolis was the lone qualifier and representative from Maryland at Foot Locker Nationals breaking a drought of several years which the state sent no one to San Diego. This year, she is joined by 5 others. The Providence College signee was 27th in last year's Foot Locker Nationals, so can expect that she is ready to race for an All-American finish this Saturday. She was 3rd in the Foot Locker Northeast Regional and broke her own Hereford course record at the state meet with unfathomable 17:49 performance. She is the most experienced of the Maryland group racing in national meets with also several New Balance Nationals 5K races under her belt.
