The Oxon Hill boys headed into the state meet sporting one of the fastest times in Maryland state history in the 4x800, set back at the Penn Relays. They had ambitions of taking down the overall state meet record of 7:44, but windy conditions on Friday afternoon prevented another magical performance like the one back in Philly. The Clippers would go on to capture yet another 3A team title.
