Nadia Hackett
The second athlete from Baltimore Poly to place in the top three at this year's AAU Junior Olympics, Hackett came within a few seconds of victory in the 17-18 400 hurdles. The state of Maryland went 1-3 in the event with Hackett finishing at 1:01.92, just behind Tylar Colbert. The time was also just off of her personal best, which she set earlier this summer in a fifth-place effort in the Emerging Elite division at New Balance Outdoor Nationals. Hackett also came back with another top-five finish, this time placing fourth in the finals of the 17-18 girls 100 hurdles.
