For as good as the girls shot put looks, the boys shot put has the potential to truly be a can't-miss event. Washington-Lee's Jabari Bennett (formerly of James H. Blake High School) won both the Nike Throw Down and the Southern Maryland Classic (where he threw 60-11, one foot shy of the current meet record).
