Juniors
Digital Harbor's Shawn Getzen and Western Tech's Elijah Jarvis finished second and third in the 55 meter hurdle finals at the DCIAA Invitational back in early December. They currently rank third and fourth, respectively, on the state hurdle rankings, and both share another common trait: neither of them had run under 8 seconds in the 55 meter hurdles entering this year.
