Watch Watkins Mill middle distance runner Alyssa Rishell earn herself MileSplit Maryland Kick Of The Week honors not for one come from behind win at last week's Montgomery County Championships, but two races in which she ran down the competition.

Week in review from the past week's meets and coverage in Maryland. Several major meets were cancelled or rescheduled due to the weekend snowstorm, but Baltimore County, Montgomery County, and Frederick County all were able to get their championship meets in before the storm. 

Richard Montgomery junior Rohann Asfaw was a cut above the rest of the distance runners at the Montgomery County Championships on Wednesday as he sat back on the field in the early going of the 1600 and 3200 before pulling away late with resounding victories and quality times of 4:23.82 and 9:42.83.

Watch Clarksburg senior Alexus Pyles simply crush the meet record in the girls 55 meter hurdles at the Montgomery County Indoor Championships with a state leading and US #7 personal best clocking of 8.02.
