The event will be a high school invitational, and it has received sanctions from the various state high school associations of Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and The District of Columbia. Course: Our 5000 meter course is flat terrain through wheat fields, grass, gravel, and paved road crossings. Race Format: The varsity races will be scored and timed. Athletes will be issued bib numbers. The junior varsity races will not be scored or timed. It is up to individual high school coaches to time their JV runners. Schedule: Junior Varsity Boys 10:00 am ? Coaches responsible for times Junior Varsity Girls 10:30am ? Coaches responsible for times Varsity Girls 11:15 am Varsity Boys 12:00 pm Entry Limitations: Varsity Race - 7 competitors Junior Varsity - 20 competitors Awards: Top 25 boys and girls? varsity runners will receive medals. Top three teams will receive awards Concessions: There may be some concessions available at the meet and Long Sleeve Shirts will also be on sale for $15.00 Entry Fees: $50.00 for each team (boys is one team, girls another) Due to new Athletic Facility regulations we are required to ask all spectators and competitors to refrain from using the Athletic Facility. Please use the Stadium for bathroom facilities. If you are going to participate, please complete the interest form returning it as soon as possible and the enclosed roster/entry form and return it by September 1st.
