Brown scored four consecutive pinfalls, including a pair in the opening period, to claim his second straight conference title – just one day before his birthday. Brown needed only two minutes, 42 seconds in the finals to defeat Fallston’s Joe Medicus, last year’s 106-pound champion, and remain undefeated at 36-0.

Haberkam scored in all three of her events at the 1A State Indoor Track Meet on Monday at the Prince George’s Sports and Learning Complex in Landover, totaling eight of the Panther girls’ 11 points. She placed fifth in high jump (4-foot-6), sixth in the 3,200-meter run (12 minutes, 34.57 seconds) and eighth in the 1,600 (5:50.87).
