MdRunning.net was designed to promote Maryland High School cross country and track and field. The main reason I am moving the site to the milesplit network is to hopefully promote the state on a national level. The Milesplit network now has about 9 states signed up, and an elite rankings system. Every time a result is added it goes on the national list. Hopefully this will get more high school athletes from Maryland noticed by more colleges.

I will continue to keep the old site up, but I will stop adding results. The old site will stay up until July, that is when my server agreement ends and I cannot afford to pay two server fees. Please be patient with the move and within a month or so I will have everything up and running smoothly. It may take a while for me to get a lot of the old results up on the new site.
