She competed in the 300 meter hurdles near the end of last outdoor season and had incredible debut in her initial hurdles opportunity, so Masai Russell was looking forward to her first meet of this spring trying it again. She did just that in running the state's fastest time of the spring in the 300 meter hurdles at 44.45 from the Bullis School sophomore Russell.
