Brit Lang has been consistently one of the state's top distance runners for all 4 years of high school since she won the cross country state title as a freshmen at Oakland Mills High School. Just last week, she signed with the University of North Florida. 

Always interesting to see how athletes develop over their four years of high school. Who comes on as a late bloomer out of nowhere as a senior with dramatic improvement. Who has early success but struggles to maintain the same rate as improvement as an upperclassmen. And who steadily stays at the top from start to finish.
