One of the most versatile athletes in the state, Henderson already has two state titles under his belt and will try and capture a few more in his senior season. He is one of the best short sprinters in the state, having won last year's 3A indoor 55 meter dash with the fastest returning time (6.40) in the state. That performance earned him a berth in the Championship 60 meter dash at last year's New Balance Indoor Nationals. He also finished second in the Championship long jump - his top event - and will be chasing a national title this year (although not a state title this winter because the horizontal jumps are not contested at the state championships).

Henderson is also one of the better hurdlers in the state, having finished second at last year's 3A indoor 55 meter hurdles, again with the top returning time (7.50) in Maryland. If that wasn't enough, Henderson traded the horizontal jumps for the high jump last winter, placing third at the 3A State Championships by clearing six feet. He should be at the top of national leaderboards in multiple events this year.
