Xavier Williams (Bishop McNamara)
Xavier Williams of Bishop McNamara is one of the top returning sprinters in the WCAC with PR's of 6.58 in the 55 meter dash and 10.93 in the 100 meter dash. He will have a great early season opportunity to test himself against some high quality competition found in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia at the Real Deal Classic this weekend.
Williams is seeded third in the 55 meter dash and should make the finals on Friday in the short sprint, while the 300 meter dash on Saturday will be interesting to see how his conditioning is at and if his range has improved to knock down that 37.51 personal best. Williams was solid stepping up to the 200 meter dash in the spring topping out with a 22.18 best.
Williams has qualified and competed the past two years in the 60 meter dash (7.05 PR) at the New Balance Nationals Indoor.
