Dalton Hengst (McDonogh School)
One of the top underclassmen milers in the nation over the past two years including a 4:10 PR, McDonogh School's Dalton Hengst put his range on display to make it out to San Diego with a 5th place finish (15:44) at the Foot Locker Northeast Regional. Hengst had the state's fastest 5K time of the year with his 15:11 victory at the Third Battle Invite in Virginia and has run as fast as 9:15 for 3200 meters on the track. If he can stay near the top half of the field, Hengst may be able to kick his way to an All-American finish at Balboa Park.
