Boys 4x200: Moten Pulls Westlake Back With Outstanding Anchor Effort
Heading into the last leg of the fast heat of the boys 4x200 Oxon Hill held the led, followed by Suitland and then Westlake. However, only one of those teams had Will Moten on the anchor. It took the senior - who had already set a new meet record in the 55 meter dash - just 100 meters to catch Suitland, and made the final pass on the final straightaway to propel Westlake into first place for the victory. Their final time of 1:32.84 is the fastest by a Maryland team on a non-banked track this year.
