Girls 55 Hurdles: Williams, Grimes With Blazing Fast Photo Finish
Both Lackey's Sydney Williams and McNamara's Taylor Grimes entered the 2016-17 as two of the top returning hurdlers in Maryland, and a head-on clash was almost inevitable in the finals on Thursday. The result? A photo finish that had everybody in the crowd on the edge of their seats until the mark was put up on the board: Williams 8.22, Grimes 8.24 (both shattering the previous meet record).
