WATCH James dominate the 500 at the Baltimore City/Counter Mixer in early January!
Confined to the Baltimore Armory for the first month of the winter, James flashed his true potential at the AACPS/BCPS meet on January 10th at the Sportsplex. There he won the 500 with a new personal best of 1:07.27, the second fastest mark in the 2A classification. He suffered his only defeat in the event on the season at the Baltimore County Championships, where he finished second. James also raised his high jump personal best by half a foot this past month, from 5'6 to 6'0.
