Another boy from up in the Appalachian Mountains, Nave is currently tied for the MD #1 mark in the pole vault at 14 feet. He has cleared 13 feet in the pole vault four times this season, and has exceeded 13'6 - the current 1A state meet record - twice. The senior will be looking to go 2-for-2 in state meet competitions in his track and field career next week.
