Only one Maryland runner was able to top Robinson in the 500 this season, and that was his teammate Gary Ross. After missing his entire junior indoor season Robinson wasted no time in getting his indoor legs back under him, opening the season with a 1:06.59 500 at the Howard County Winterfest. He ran a MD #2 and personal best 1:04.88 at the Virginia Tech Invitational and finished second to Ross at the county, regional and state championships. Robinson was also a member of the MD #1 4x800 and SMR.
