The 2A East region won't change much in 2017, which makes sense; most of the teams in the region are on the Eastern Shore or the Northeast corner of the Chesapeake Bay. Only Parkside will be missing from the field next fall, with North Harford moving down from 3A North to take their place. The North Harford boys were the only of the four teams to make it to states in 2016 and graduate their top two runners, but both the boys and girls could find more success in a smaller classification.
