Teams will be leaving en masse for the 1A North region next fall, reducing the size of the field by four teams. None of the new teams should threaten Hereford who have held a strangehold upon the region since moving down from 3A North in the fall of 2013. The race for the remaining spots should be interesting again, but with none of the rest of the teams in the region being very deep it will be hard to predict until the middle of the fall.
