Urbana junior Brin Strouse is coming off a victory at the Frederick County Championships (19:18) and has been knocking on the door of a sub 19 minute effort on a 5K course this fall. Strouse ran 18:01 for 3 miles at the Frank Keyser Invite earlier this month against a strong field for fourth place. Strouse should be in contention for the 4A North Regional title along with Yasmine Kass of Paint Branch and Morgan Casey of Montgomery Blair.
