The Northeast boys have been on a roll in terms of the 4x200 relay. Not counting the stacked Virginia Showcase, the boys haven't lost a 4x200 race since mid-December. Although their fastest time of the season came on a banked track at the Virginia Showcase, they also ran 1:31.51 at the Anne Arundel County Championships at the Sportsplex, which would still be a 3A #1 time.

Both the Watkins Mill and Atholton boys dropped season-best times at their respective regional meets last week. The Raiders have gone head-to-head with Reservoir (the only other team, besides Northeast, to run sub-1:32 this winter) many times this season, placing just behind them at the Howard County Championships before winning the 3A East Regionals. For Watkins Mill, their victory at the 3A West Regionals was their first of the season in the event, although they've now run 1:32 in back-to-back meets.
