No. 18: Mount Hebron High School
Mount Hebron's fifth-place finish at the state championship last season was their highest team finish since 2011. However, this team has a chance to be even better than last year, because they return six of their seven state finishers. Their top returner, rising junior Alexandra Banham, finished ninth at last year's state championships; that was her lowest finish in any race last season. Behind her are two more girls who finished in the top 50 at last year's state meet: Ellie Gustafson (22nd) and Emily Beyer (36th). Four 3A teams currently sit above the Hebron girls in the preseason power rankings, but with the returning cast they have this season they certainly could make a push for a top three spot at the state championships.
