Two boys will be zeroed in on the 500 state record next week - two boys who are very familiar with each other. Oxon Hill teammates Gary Ross and Aaron Robinson have formed one of the best mid-distance duos in recent memory this year, both having gone under 1:05 in the 500. Ross' personal best of 1:04.67 is just below the current 3A state meet record of 1:04.71 and he showed back in January that he can run under 1:05 even at the PG Sportsplex. The duo will both be shooting for state titles in the 4x8, 500, 800 and 4x4 as Oxon Hill seeks to defend their 2015-16 indoor championship.
