Realistically, Gary Ross and Aaron Robinson could shoot for the 3A state meet records in all four of their events (4x8, 500, 800 and 4x4). With the 4x8 being the first event of the day it would seem more likely for them to challenge the current meet record of 8:06.69 set back in 2010. They own a MD #a mark of 7:58.74, and their top flat-track time this season of 8:03.03 would best the current record as well. With a big race they could even threaten the all-classification meet record of 7:59.73.
