The No. 7 picks for First Team All-State are listed below.
First Team All-State; Pick No. 7
Cara Harrison, Senior
Quince Orchard
Championships: Montgomery County -- #2 | 4A West -- #3 | 4A State -- #3
Cara Harrison, along with several other athletes on first team this year, helped display the talent of the class of 2007 this season. As a senior Harrison executed a very sucessful season, improving greatly upon her previous three seasons. A full schedule allowed her to gain experience competing out of state, and only helped her to exceed expectations in the championship season. Her time of 19:23.90 at the state championships was the third fastest of the day.

First Team All-State; Pick No. 7
Kelli Thibou, Senior
Eleanor Roosevelt
Championships: Prince George's County -- #1 | 4A South -- #1 | 4A State -- #3
Although Thibou was only given one chance to compete against the bulk of Maryland's top competitors, he certainly rose the occasion. Finishing less than a second behind Woodlawn's Dwight Parker, Thibou's time of 16:31.93 was not that far behind former-teammate and First Team All-State runner Mikias Gelagle's time at the state championships last season. Thibou also had a good showing earlier this season at the Maymount Invitational, where he clocked a time just seconds short of Christopher Moen's.
