Run their first full 5K race this upcoming weekend in home invite (Barnhart), but this past Saturday teamed up with their girls team to have the 3 fastest co-ed relays at Baltimore Co. Relays. Will be interesting to see how their times match up to Severna Park's from this past weekend. Their home course is fast too and will be pushed by MD #4 Loyola-Blakefield and DC's best in Gonzaga.

Went up to Pennsylvania this past weekend and put on a clinic at the Northampton Invite tallying a team score under 30 pts and 3 guys under the old meet record including state's top two fastest 5K performances in Andrew Forsyth and Josh Tucker (15:35) and 16:07 team average. Their "B" squad also finished 3rd in varsity race ahead of top 10 ranked Howard squad to show off their incredible depth.

Defeated a formidable Gonzaga squad 42-57 at the Chancellor Invite in VA led by race champ Jack Wavering in 16:34 and putting four more runners among the top 9 places. Really close who the best private school team is right now in state. Matt Lopez finishing in #2 spot (4th @ Chancellor) is an interesting development to compliement Wavering and teammate Kevin McGivern up front.

After cruising through two time trial/scrimmages races, Bethesda-Chevy Chase took it up a notch in Tuesday's Woodward Relays winning the boys competition with their top 6 runners grouped up into 3 relays. Potential favorites for Montgomery County title? Dylan Kannapell and Lucas Heinzerling make for a strong front two duo for their squad.

After taking a decisive loss in a scrimmage to the reigning 3-time 4A state champs Severna Park in a scrimmage last month, the defending 3A state champs showed Interstate what this team is capable of in soundly defeating one of their top challengers to 3A title in Mt. Hebron 37-60.

If McDonogh doesn't seem to have an answer for their #5 runner, it would appear that Mount St. Joseph would now become that #3 private school in state behind Good Counsel & Loyola-Blakefield after a strong runner-up finish at Seahawk averaging 16:58 as a squad with a top 5 split under a minute.

Despite not running top returnee Brandon Kureshi and after graduating one of state's best in Diego Zarate, Northwest boys put together a dominant team performance at Brunswick averaging 17:32 on the slow 3 mile course with 3 runners in top 8 of large schools division.

If they could have 6 guys run in the mid 17's or faster for 5K in a team time trial, imagine what they can do with competition around them.

Ran quick times across the board at Seahawk averaging 17:04 as a team and had a front runner emerge for them in Nick Deamer (4th, 16:18), which is a good sign for a team needing someone to step up as a solid #1.

After Severna Park's weekend which was more than just their dominance up in Pennsylvania from their first 7, but also what their next 7 did in finishing third at a highly competitive invitational...the attention now turns to Dulaney to see what they can show in their first full 5K race of the season on Saturday in their home meet at the Barnhart Invite.
Dulaney ran well at the Baltimore County Relays as an easy opener to build into their first major races, but tough to gauge them in a co-ed alternating relay race. They will be well tested on Saturday by MD #4 ranked Loyola-Blakefield coming off their repeat win at Seahawk and the Dalton Hengst led McDonogh School boys.
Bethesda-Chevy Chase picked up a quality win late on Tuesday at the Woodward Relays as it will be interesting to see over next few weeks who is the best team out of Mongomery County. Private schools pecking order are very intriguing as Good Counsel and Loyola-Blakefield look like almost identicaly teams with a very strong front four and a little bit of a gap in the #5 runner spot. River Hill and Northwest had nice wins and posted solid times on slower 3 mile courses that matchup well to the faster times run at Seahawk.
If was possible Severna Park's "B" squad could potentially make this list.
