Coffin gained national attention in not only repeating as the Seahawk Invite champ two weeks ago, but running one of fastest times in nation for early in season with 17:23 meet record victory over #2 ranked Hayley Jackson. She seems ready to make that jump to be a national caliber runner to represent Maryland.

After breaking 18 minutes for first time in duel with Coffin in week 1, Jackson came back to break a meet record at the Maryland Track & Trail with a decisive 18:27 win in the small schools race.
3
Two invitational wins and two meet records for Lang breaking 19 minutes on two courses that never had been done before at Brunswick Invite and this past weekend's win of 18:34 against Good Counsel's Wendt at Howard County Invite.
4
Ran her first 5K race of season on Tuesday and the sophomore looked in control running a 18:50 5K to kick off her 2015 season before a big race at Oatlands.
5
No races yet for Carberry despite her team running in a few meets, but she is scheduled to race at Oatlands this weekend, which will be a great initial test to see how she matches up against some of other top ranked runners in the state.
6
Taye finally got that sub 19 minute 5K race that she was due to run after her great track season success including the 4A outdoor state title. She won arguably the deepest race of the weekend in the Barnhart Invite girls race over a minute faster than last year's time in 18:40.
7
Started her season off with a runaway victory in Virginia at the Chancellor Invite and last weekend gave Brit Lang a real challenge and made her work for the win at Howard County Invite.
8
King will have her first major invitational race of the season this Saturday at Oatlands, but has looked incredibly fit in dual meets/scrimmages/time trials so far as Whitman's front runner.
9
Craig enjoyed a dominant 37 second win at the Spiked Invite. Impressive that she was within 2 minutes of the top boys time run on the day at the meet and defeated two girls who ran sub 19 at Seahawk Invite week prior. Definitely could challenge Wendt as top private school runner in the state.
10
Two DNF's to start the season is certainly not how Wright would have liked to start her senior season after going to out to lead both Interstate Classic and the Mountain Run. Will she be on the line to get redemption and her season back on track at Oatlands on Saturday?
11
Still waiting for first season results on Gearhart, but don't sleep on this star who runs in isolation across the bay in Talbot County. One of the fastest returnees still from last year's state meet at Hereford.
12
Ran a solid 5K season opener time on Tuesday in dual meet with Bethesda-Chevy Chase. Senior leader for preseason #1 ranked team looks to get her team ready to compete for first place at Oatlands Invite this weekend.
13
A nice PR run to grab second place at the Barnhart Invite and see her stock rise as the favorite and top contender to win the Baltimore County title at season's end.
14
Training partners with Hayley Jackson and Sami King over the summer. The work showed to be rubbing off on Imhof with a swift 18:42 opener for third place at Seahawk Invite.

1st 20:52.19 @ Mountain Run
Its going to be all downhill for Kowalk after her first race. Literally. She handled the most difficult course she will run on all season long just fine in winning the Mountain Run invite by 19 seconds from the indoor state 800 meter champ.

The first update of All-Maryland girls individual rankings into the season. Emily Craig, Johanna Admiraal, and Annie Imhof are the new additions to this top 15 list with both Admiraal and Imhof dipping well under 19 minutes in their season debut races at Barnhart and Seahawk, while Craig has a resounding victory at the Spiked Shoe Invite. So far, Coffin, Jackson and Lang have looked the fittest in the state through the first two weekends. But still have a few runners that haven't had that first major invite 5K race include Abbey Green, Maria Carberry, and Sami King. But guess what? They all will be at Oatlands this Saturday along with Boonsboro's Haley Wright.
