8. Amanda Hayes-Puttfarcken (Sherwood, Senior)
A top 15 state meet finisher in 4A for each of the last 3 seasons, Sherwood's Amanda Hayes-Puttfarcken has been a mainstay among the state's top tier for a while. Oatlands will be her first major invitational race of the season after going unbeaten so far in smaller races with a 19:56 performance last week in a home quad meet. In her last race in Virginia, Hayes-Puttfarcken finished fourth in the varsity B races at Glory Days last October and has dipped under 19 minutes in the past for 5K.
