The matchup which we have been waiting for this first month of the 2015 cross country season when the top two boys teams in the state of Maryland will finally matchup with the Saucony Flo50 nationally ranked Dulaney boys and the 3-time defending 4A state champions Severna Park boys.
The Dulaney boys are led by the defending Bull Run Invitational elite race champion Eric Walz who posted a winning time of 16:05 one year ago at Hereford. Last year, the Severna Park boys took the team title in the elite race by 7 points over Dulaney 43-50 points as Andrew Forsyth is the team's top returnee from that race when he placed 9th in a time of 16:34.
The Severna Park boys are looking to rebound from a setback last week when they finished a disappointing third place at the Oatlands Invite, while the Dulaney boys dominated their home invite two weeks ago able to decisively defeat the #4 ranked team in the state in Loyola-Blakefield.
