Many questions after this past Saturday's Bull Run Invitational seeing some of the fastest times ever run on the Hereford High School's 3 mile cross country course including a 18:09 meet record performance by Maria Coffin being the fastest time run by a girl on any Hereford course. Dulaney senior Eric Walz's 15:44 win in the elite race on Saturday also ranks him up there or ahead of some of Maryland's all-time greats and their best times at Hereford including Solomon Haile, Graham Brazell and Matthew Centrowitz.
While visiting the Hereford cross country team on Tuesday for a Workout Wednesday video shoot, we thought it would be a good time to ask the current course designer himself and long-time Hereford cross country coach John Roemer how much faster he thinks the current course compares to some of the previous courses at Hereford. Check out what he had to say above! Then vote below how much faster (if at all) you believe the new course is!
