
Not is not typo. The 3A boys state shot put champion from James Hubert Blake High School is only a sophomore. Jabari Bennett, won his first state title of likely many to come with best throw of 51'5" on Tuesday. Bennett started the season at Gonzaga College in DC before transferring to Blake mid-season. He's thrown over 51 feet numerous times this season including a 52'0.50" PR mark at the SPIRE facility in Ohio back in December.
