Check out the top 500 senior girls cross country 3 mile times in the state of Maryland as of September 7th in the MileSplit database. Middletown's Reilly Caldwell broke free from the rest of the field at the Seahawk Invite at South River High School on Saturday, setting a new three mile personal best of 18:25.30. Northern's Molly Barrick was not far behind, finishing in second place at 18:43.00 and leading her team to a win at the Seahawk Invite.
Catoctin's Julien Webster had an impressive debut at the Brunswick Invite, creating a large gap on the field early in the race and never looking back. Her winning time of 18:18.20 is the fastest girls three mile time in the state as of September 7. Back at the Seahawk Invite, Mount de Sales' Kelly Szalankiewicz was the fourth senior girl to dip under the 19 minute mark so far this season, finishing in fourth place.
