Meet Results & Coverage
The cross country course at Lehigh University (PA) was a bit soggy on Saturday but that didn't stop McDonogh's Dalton Hengst from turning in one of the best performances of the year to date. He finished fourth in the boys brown division with a new personal best of 15:27, just one second short of Westlake's Jereamy Hall's 15:26 (run on a 3.07-mile course).
Hengst's teammate, Lucas Wright, was also a standout, finishing 11th in the race with a new personal best of 15:50. Good Counsel's Jimmy Vazzana led the Falcons to a 12th place finish (best of all Maryland teams) with a season best time of 16:15.
On the girls' side, the Quince Orchard girls were the top team from Maryland. They finished 23rd in the brown division, led by sub-20 performances from Maya Jacobson and Margaret Lilyestrom. Churchill's Julia Reicin was the top Maryland girl at the meet, clocking a full-5K personal best of 18:39.00 - good for 21st in the girls brown race.
