Six Weeks In: Top Ten All-Maryland Boys Team Rankings!

1. Severna Park (Week Three: #1): They put ten guys under the 17 minute mark at the Carlisle Invitational. Northwest is the only other team with more than five.

2. Dulaney (Week Three: #2): After a couple invitational wins in Maryland, the Dulaney boys picked up a signature season win by defending their 2015 Glory Days Invitational title. They will be favorites at every meet up until their showdown with Severna Park at Hereford on November 12th.

3. Liberty (Week Three: #4): They looked mortal in their loss to their Sykesville rivals Century at the Mountain Run Invitational, but followed that up with back-to-back wins at the Crossfire and Wildcat invitationals. Get the popcorn ready as they face Century at least three more times before states.

4. Good Counsel (Week Three: NR): They finished a mere 15 points away from first-place Dulaney at the Glory Days Invitational. After a bit of a slow start to the season, the Good Counsel boys are back on top as the top private school in the state (MSJ is still a close second).

5. Bethesda-CC (Week Three: #5): They've been somewhat quiet in terms of invitationals so far this season, but they finished fifth at the Glory Days Invitational. Still patiently awaiting their matchup with Northwest at the Montgomery County Championships...

6. Century (Week Three: NR): They weren't ranked after three weeks, but something has clicked for the Century boys. They finished second at the Spiked Shoe Invitational, then beat Liberty handily at the Mountain Run Invitational.

7. Howard (Week Three: #6): The Howard boys looked dominant at the Urbana Invitational, and will get some even better competition at this week's Gunpowder Invitational.

8. River Hill (Week Three: #8): The state hasn't gotten a good look at the River Hill boys since their second-place finish at the William and Mary Invitational. They will have a chance to prove themselves against some other top-ten teams (Liberty, Century, South River) at this weekend's Frank Keyser Invitational.

9. South River (Week Three: #3): They shot up to third in the rankings after high finishes at the Seahawk and Hood College invitationals. A fifth-place finish at the Spiked Shoe Invitational and a narrow victory over Leonardtown at the Chaptico Invitational, however, lower them back towards their preseason rankings.

10. Northwest (Week Three: #9): 1-6, they looked as strong as ever at last week's Tidewater Fall Classic. They will now be focused on capturing the Montgomery County title in two weeks.
