Girls 55: O'Neal Takes Down Maryland #1 Mark
Flowers' Pharist O'Neal took down the previous meet record in the 55 meter dash prelims on Thursday, recording a MD #3 time of 7.14. The question was, could she do it again in the finals? The answer was yes - and then some. O'Neal dropped a 7.08, knocking off Bullis' Ashley Seymour for the top mark in Maryland this season. Only Frederick's Jaida Smith ran faster last season (7.04).
