Only a handful of girls have cleared 5'4 in the high jump this season, and Gamble added her name to that list late in January. She had a personal best of 5'0 heading into the month and she gradually raised that mark to 5'1, 5'2 and eventually her personal best height of 5'4. Gamble cleared 5'4 at the Baltimore County Championships where she finished second, and she is now tied with three others for the top mark in the 2A classification. She's cleared a new height in all of her meets this season, so could a 5'5 or 5'6 be in the cards at the regional championships?
