3A Girls 500
In her first two high school seasons Nyjari McNeil has won two 3A indoor 500 titles and one indoor 800 title (she finished second as a freshman in 2015). Will someone end her reign this season? She currently holds the top 3A marks in both events this season, but she faces familiar competition this year. Sydney Robinson will be in a new uniform but back in the 500, in which she finished second last season as a freshman. Another contender who didn't run at last year's state meet is McNeil's teammate Cameron Hinton, who owns the second-fastest 300 in the classification this season.
