Baltimore Poly senior William Henderson was DQ'd before his opportunity to break the 3A state meet record in the 55 meter dash. However, he was still the only boy in any classification to dip under 6.40 seconds, dropping a 6.39 effort in the prelims.

Eastern Tech's Taylor Baranoski was the distance star of the state meet. He won both the 2A 1600 and 800, clocking the fastest times of the state championships in both events.
