The Bullis girls, coming off their historic performance at New Balance Indoor Nationals, traveled down to the Texas Relays to kick off their spring season. They went head to head with some of the best programs in the country including two airtight races with DeSoto (TX), a fellow national sprint powerhouse. Bullis edged DeSoto in their division of the 4x100, and came up just short in the 4x400.

At the end of the weekend the Bulldogs rank fourth in the country in the 4x400 and 14th in the 4x100. Their 4x100, 4x200 and 4x400 marks are also all MD #1 marks in the early going. Listen to their 4x400 talk after their opening weekend below.

Aside from the sprint relays the girls also set three MD #1 individual marks in Austin over the weekend. Senior Ashley Seymour carried her momentum from a big indoor season, clocking an 11.72 100. Alexis Postell wasted no time in setting a new personal best in the 100 hurdles at 14.25. And Cierra Pyles climbed back atop the state triple jump leaderboard at 38'10.
