Regionals week gave us plenty of performances to choose from when selecting the top athlete of the week. We narrowed it down to six boys who stood out among the rest. Cast your vote for the top athlete below!

North County's Ryan Willie is only a freshman but that didn't stop him from having a big day at the 4A East Regionals. He posted personal bests while winning both the 200 (22.48) and 400 (49.52) - both marks are among the top three by freshmen this season.

Another boy who jumped up the rankings this weekend was Bladensburg's Kenny Amaya. The senior threw a 14-foot personal best in the discus, and at 169'2 is now alone atop the state leaderboard. Also making a big jump up the rankings over the past few weeks was Parkside's Nayel Oge, who won the 100 and 200 at the 2A East Regionals coming off a 10.90 100 and 21.90 200 at the Bayside Conference Championships.

Good Counsel's Darnell Pratt turned in an effort of a lifetime on Saturday at the WCAC Championships. He was a point-scoring machine, setting a new meet record in the 400 and finishing second in both the 100 and 200. However his finest performance was anchoring the Falcons to a new MD #1 mark in the 4x200, and Pratt's efforts helped Good Counsel defend its WCAC team title.

Pratt may have been a workhorse on Saturday, but not like River Hill senior Rahul Reddy. He went 4-4 in the distance races at the 3A East Regionals, anchoring the 4x800 and then sweeping the 3200, 1600 and 800. Similarly, Century's Henry Seabrook could not be stopped at the 2A West Regionals, winning the 100 and 200 and leading Century to victories in the 4x100 and 4x200.
