Aaron Robinson won 3 career individual state titles in 3A while at Oxon Hill as key member of their state champion squads. He excelled best at the 400 meter dash as an outdoor state champ twice running a personal best of 47.27 for 7th place at New Balance Nationals Outdoor. Robinson's range also extended to the 800 as he was a part of Oxon Hill's 7:40 state record breaking 4x800 meter relay this past spring at the Penn Relays.
What was your most memorable race/throw/jump/vault/moment?
Winning the 400 m state title last year after returning from injury. I just remember how tough it was to regain shape, but the victory showed that my work payed off.
Who would you consider your biggest competition over your four years?
Gary Ross is my biggest competitor. I see him everyday in practice, and that's where it starts. Him along with my other teammates train hard and push me to become better. I know that every time I race Gary I have to bring my A game because he has great capability and a lot of heart.
What was your greatest accomplishment?
If asked this question in the past I would say winning state titles but after receiving all-met for 2017 outdoor, I believe that this is my biggest accomplishment so far. I never really gave it any thought until I actually received it and noticed what it really meant.
If you could do it all over again what would you change about your running career in high school?
I always imagine where I would have been if I haven't got hurt twice, so if I had to redo the high school running career I would have focused more on taking care of my body. I am still very grateful for my high school career to say the least.
What were the most difficult obstacles you had to overcome?
After missing the entire indoor season my junior year it was very difficult to even watch some races without feeling left out. Not knowing exactly when I would return made it more difficult but when I did I was hungry. It was a tough process but with the help of God I made it through.
What will you miss the most?
This is a tough question, but if I had to say something that I would miss a lot, is just the times that me and my brothers had. I wish I could just relive some moments from certain practices, trips and meets.
What advice would you give to younger athletes?
I would tell younger athletes to always stay hungry. Any success you have will eventually turn into a memory. So you have to keep making memories by continuing to be successful.
What influence has your coach had with respect to your performance and overall life goals?
Since I have been at Oxon, I've had many coaches who have helped me in there own ways. From running form to race strategy, they gave me good insight. Aside from that they have supported and assisted me in making decisions that are beneficial to me.
Who would you like to say 'thank you' to?
I will first like to thank God for giving me ability. I want to thank everyone who has guided me and supported me thought the years, and molded me to the person that I am today. I will like to give a special thanks to my father for keeping me motivated and always being there for me despite results.

It was a great four years and I hope the next chapter of my life will be even better.
