Indoor ends on high note for Md.

Devon Williams wins the 800 in new freshman record of 2:06 in New York. Meanwhile back in Maryland Hasley Sinclair in the freshman mile, and the Eleanor Roosevelt boys in the sprint medley were winners for Maryland. While many top athletes earned all-american status by finishing in the top 6 of their event. An event by event recap follows: Boys

60 meter dash: Tony Cole and Darius Heyward-Bey finish 4th and 6th respectively.

200 meter dash: Anthony Wiseman finishes 5th.

1600 meter run: Andrew Jeisen top Md finisher

400 meter dash: Randy Lee finishes 3rd.

800 meter run: Julius Coleman finishes 6th and Brandon Lynch 8th.

4x200: New Wave (Suitland I believe) finishes 2nd. DeMatha and Blazin Raiders (ER) finishes 4th and 5th.

4x400: Blazin Raiders (ER), and New Wave (Suitland) 2nd and 4th DeMatha was 6th.

Sprint Medley: ER Wins!!! with Ed Waters (Mervo) 3rd.

Pentathalon: Another big event for Md. Boris Roslov 3rd and Bryan Jones 4th.

Girls:

1600 meter run: Lauren Centrowitz finishes 3rd.

Freshman mile: Big event for Sinclair sisters: Halsey wins and Ashlyn finishes 3rd.

400 meter run: Takecia Jameson finishes 4th.

800 meter run: Quantika Stepney finishes 8th.

60 meter hurdles: Tiffany Nesfield finishes 4th.

4x200: Maryland Jaquars (CH Flowers) finishes 6th.

4x400: Blazin Raiders (ER) finishes 4th.

4x800: Blazin Raiders again finish 4th.
