Ablel Gebreselase
The Digital Harbor rising senior finished seventh in the 1600 at this year's 4A state championships; his time of 4:24.88 was the fastest by any Baltimore City runner since Mergenthaler's Issac Richardson ran 4:24.26 back in 2007. Gebreselase continued his success this week in Michigan, placing fifth in the 17-18 year old division of the 1500 with a time of 4:08.61.
