Who Won The Weekend? Belmaggio Joins The Ranks Of Sub-16

It was by far the busiest weekend in and around the state of Maryland and it didn't disappoint. With five races within state borders and teams traveling to Delaware, Pennsylvania, Virginia and North Carolina, the state 5K rankings got quite a shake-up on Saturday. Linganore's Michael Belmaggio was one of four boys to dip under 16 minutes on the weekend as he ran away with the victory at the Hood College Invitational. It was a milestone for the junior, marking his first time going under the 16 minute mark in his career.
