Last year's state championships completely re-shaped the new course (since 2014) Hereford leaderboard, as five of the top six times run since the new course debuted were from last year. Three runners stood out among the rest: Maria Coffin, Abigail Green and Hayley Jackson. In addition to having the top three times on the new Hereford course the three girls also qualified for Foot Locker Nationals along with Catoctin's Julien Webster.
Green is the only runner back from last year's epic meet and could have the best chance out of anybody next weekend to surpass Maria Coffin's one-year-old course record.
